V BANK CHEMICAL MEDIA FILTERS
What's that smell?
Foul and irritable odors pose a major issue to the residents and neighbors and in most cases can affect the health of the individuals.
Odor pollution is majorly caused by industrial plant emissions, wastewater treatment, pulp and paper mills, petrochemical industries, livestock operations, and so on.
Odor emissions are gases that are a direct result of chemical processes in industries and/or microbial activity on organic matter such as sewage, feces, plant, and animal matter.
These gases have distinct odor characteristics. For example; Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) which is the major component of all industrial and microbial processes has a rotten egg smell.
How do we eliminate odor?
Since odors are nothing but gases generated from different processes, the best way to mitigate them is by scrubbing the air with engineered chemical media.
These specifically and efficiently remove these gases by a process called “chemisorption”. The adsorbed gases are chemically neutralized to base salts thereby restricting the entry of gases into the environment.
The engineered chemical media is housed in specifically designed air filtration systems which ensures that the maximum amount of contaminated gases are exposed to the chemical media.
