SDG 3. Good Health and Well-Being
Not only does disease impact the wellbeing of an individual, it burdens family and public resources, weakens societies, and squanders potential. The health and wellbeing of people at all ages therefore lies at the heart of sustainable development. Protection from disease is not only fundamental to survival, but it enables opportunity for everyone and strengthens economic growth and prosperity.
The international community, through Goal 3, has committed itself to a global effort to eradicate disease, strengthen treatment and healthcare, and address new and emerging health issues. It calls for innovation, and research in these areas to further enhance public policy efforts. And finally, health and wellbeing are closely linked with the quality of our environment, and Goal 3 also aims to substantially reduce the numbers of deaths and illnesses caused by air, water, and soil pollution and contamination.
Target: By 2030, substantially reduce the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water and soil pollution and contamination.
SDG 4. Quality Education
A quality education is the foundation of sustainable development, and therefore of the Sustainable Development Goals. As a policy intervention, education is a force multiplier which enables self-reliance, boosts economic growth by enhancing skills, and improves people’s lives by opening up opportunities for better livelihoods.
Target: SDG for 2030 call for ensuring the completion of primary and secondary education by all boys and girls, and guaranteeing equal access to opportunities for access to quality technical and vocational education for everyone. Policy interventions will require improving access and improving quality, as well addressing relevant obstacles which include gender inequalities, food insecurity, and armed conflict.
SDG 17. Partnerships for the Goals
A successful sustainable development agenda requires partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society. Climate change is global, and businesses are just as important to fighting it as governments. Innovation can’t happen without universities and scientists, and certainly not without exchange of knowledge across continents. Gender equality is as much about communities as it is about legal instruments. If our epidemics are global, their solutions are too. Inclusive partnerships built upon a shared vision and shared goals that place people and the planet at the center, are needed at the global, regional, national and local level.
Urgent action is needed to mobilize, redirect and unlock the transformative power of trillions of dollars of private resources to deliver on sustainable development objectives. Long-term investments, including foreign direct investment, are needed in critical sectors, especially in developing countries. These include sustainable energy, infrastructure and transport, as well as information and communications technologies. The public sector will need to set a clear direction. Review and monitoring frameworks, regulations and incentive structures that enable such investments must be retooled to attract investments and reinforce sustainable development. National oversight mechanisms such as supreme audit institutions and oversight functions by legislatures should be strengthened.
Multi-stakeholder partnerships: Enhance the global partnership for sustainable development, complemented by multi-stakeholder partnerships that mobilize and share knowledge, expertise, technology and financial resources, to support the achievement of the sustainable development goals in all countries, in particular developing countries.
Target: By 2030, build on existing initiatives to develop measurements of progress on sustainable development that complement gross domestic product, and support statistical capacity-building in developing countries.

Business lead
Born and brought up in Bangalore, Amit Inchal is a true Bangalorean by heart. He has a Masters in Biotechnology and has worked with Biotech biggies such as Biocon in the Quality department. He later on moved into sales and business development and has worked with companies such as TPP (Techno Plastic Products, Switzerland) and Becton Dickinson. He now heads the Business development, Digital marketing and Lead generation activities for Ripple Effect. His vision: “Faith, accountability and conviction are the path for true happiness. I believe in being faithful to God, accountable to stake holders, investors, our employees and to nature and to do the right thing with conviction. Ripple Effect embodies these values and envisions a positive impact on peoples health”
Sahriday Solomon
Operations Head
An Engineer by qualification and an alumnus of RVCE Bangalore, Sahriday Solomon began his Journey as an entrepreneur in 2006 after a brief stint in the corporate world. As co founder of Best Beverages and Founder of Ripple Effect he truly believes that environment friendly and sustainable solutions are essential to achieve true prosperity as it paves way to a better human life while preserving this beautiful world we live in. Being a part of the core team of Ripple Effect he presently serves as the operations and finance head. He believes that faith makes all things possible and considers lifelong learning a key to an entrepreneur’s success. Travelling and reading are his preferred leisure activities.
